they need pitching. i think carlos peña is still good enough. they need to fix their pitching sooo badly because they were at the bottom in a lot of categories for pitching. you cant win a world series without good pitching.

Sign Prince, Resign Ramirez, Do what ever to get rid of Alfonso Soriano, Sign a good hitter to replace Soriano. Make Barney starter at second base and for pitcher sign in Mark Buehrle or CC Sabathia. And resign Matt Garza

As a RedSox fan Im not worried that Theo is leaving because the new GM is probobly going to be the guy that drafted all the players that are stars now. (Pedroia, Ellsbury, Papelbon, Lester, Bucholz) All Theo did was spend ridiculous amounts on players that didn’t produce (Lackey, Crawford…yet, Drew, Daisuke) but he did help us win in 2004 by getting good hardnose players for a cheap-price (Bill Mueller, Kevin Millar, David Ortiz, Everyone from the Nomar trade) and that is why he will be missed

dunno if cubs should get fielder honestly. cubs have a terribly rotation other than garza, and I think they should really focus on bringing in a guy like CJ wilson, who is most likely going to have a bigger impact.

theo helped break the curse with a really good red sox teams, now hes on the cubs ….. but the cubs suck, so until they get a good team (not in our lifetime) they will not win a ring
