   sachin is undoubtedly the batsmen in world cricket bradman is aussie hype nothing more than that no mcgrath no wasim akram no walsh no ambrose ..how many bowler at that time take 400 plus wicket …..i watch a old video on utube of 30s cricket australia vs england 6 fielders stood at fine leg lol…we use to do that when we play cricket at local parks …after watch that video i understand how bradman has average close to 100 in test cricket ….with those type of bowler and fielder no suprise

   Sachin has been playing for nearly 22 years so far and has played against and scored well against a number of opponents from Australia to Namibia and His greatest achievement is this longevity.

   Bradman played,i think,only about 50 or 60 tests and it was against only a couple of teams in very similar pitches and conditions.Moreover the bowling was not great and fielding was pathetic during his time.And Bradman has only one record of having the highest avg in tests whereas Sachin has almost every record except the highest avg and individual score in test cricket

   Ryan ten Doeschate has the highest avg in ODI so bradman’s record looks only as good as ryan’s.This is only My opinion.AMEN.

   Bradman played mostly on low bounce wickets.bowlers were not great during those times..fielding umpiring..game was so much easy those days. more like a club games…nowadays..everybody’s eye on you….Sachin may not have scored high runs but played on all kinds of wickets everywhere all countires and scored runs…and scored centuries..not like Lara scored 400 runs on a batting wicket and not declared west indies innings…Sachin also have few innings like that in ODI and test but not many..

   Body line was just one series….Have you played on uncovered wickets..nowas days people get on word and start commenting even if that is not true….Look nobody is superman…If batsman scoredhigh runs it has to be batting wickets…..that is why he has many double and triple centuries…for any batsman it is true..like bowlers wickets are good they take wickets it is the physics and nature of the game…And Bradman played on same few pitches and same country in his career..

    @ssouvik131 During Bodyline Bradman still averaged 56! Which is sachins average now. And the bodyline act was passed immediatly after that series. He complained yes, but still managed to be great. Once again on uncovered wickets which are infinetly harder to play on than the roads sachin has batted on for the last 10 years.

    @iamthegreatest27 i dont think its fare to compare between bradman and Sachin because they are of different era. while Sachin had advantage of modern technology,so did the bowlers. bradman was spared such scrutiny of his batting for lack of technology otherwise his avg may had been 39.94 instead of 99.94 lol.
    once England made a tactic against him he flopped badly and was so frightened that he faught until the “bodyline” act was passed.
    He was a good batsman but lacked the SPIRIT of CRICKET

    In order to get international recognition you have to play on fast tracks. I constantly hear the argument that sachin has a billion people’s hope on him….crap!
    Ponting always delivers when his team needs him.

    India thinks because they along with pakistan are the leaders in match fixing, they dominate cricket, when was the last time they won a test series in aus/sa/eng??
    A blindfolded baboon can score in the sub-continent…its not cricket. Against swing the toweheads bounce round

    Sachin is mediocre in SA/Aus/eng….its easy to score in india and pakistan the wicket is a joke… Bradman was the ultimate.
    both kallis and ponting have better records on fast wickets

    saching has played a knock here and there but nothing too dangerous…. he was scared shitless of Allan Donald.

    You can’t compare sachin to bradman.
    Bradman played on uncovered wickets, with worse bats and no helmets.
    Wheras sachin has played more often and against more professional cricketers.
    Bradman is the best of all time and that is uncontestable. But Sachin is now clearly 2nd.
